My Thoughts

The brand sent me three colors to try: flamingo (bright pink); peacock (metallic blue) and anteater (dark brown). First and foremost, I loved the aesthetics of the packaging and that it was made with environmentally safe glass and wood!

I tried the polish at home the first week and then took it to my neighborhood nail salon the following week.  For a brand that is free of harmful chemicals which are used to enhance the product, this polish performed well.  DBP is used in polishes to minimize chipping. I wore the polish for a few days without a top coat and didn’t experience chipping. Nail polish usually survives on my hand for 24 hours and this one sat there for at least three days before I removed it. When I had it done at a nail salon the colors actually lasted a week before it started chipping. The application was smooth and despite the fact that it didn’t have camphor the polish was very shiny. You will need at least two coats of polish to see the true, vibrant colors, however. This was a great beauty find.
